3-Day Highlights Beijing Private Tour Package

Day 1: Mutianyu Great Wall, Ming Tombs

Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby at 08:00am. Today you will start your Beijing adventure with a visit to the breathtaking Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the most scenic and less-crowded sections of the Great Wall. You will enjoy around 2 hours of sightseeing, walking along the ancient wall and taking unforgettable photos of the mountain views. On the way, you will have a short optional stop to learn a little about Chinese jade craftsmanship and take a comfortable break before continuing the journey. After lunch, you will visit the Ming Tombs, where emperors of the Ming Dynasty were buried, exploring either Changling or Dingling to discover China’s fascinating imperial history and ancient traditions. At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to your hotel comfortably.

Day 2: Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace

Your guide will meet you again at your hotel at 08:30am. Today you will explore Beijing’s most important city highlights, starting with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the heart of the capital. Then you will continue to the magnificent Forbidden City (Palace Museum), where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties once lived and ruled China for centuries. After lunch, you will have a short relaxing stop to learn about one of China’s most famous treasures, before continuing to the peaceful Temple of Heaven, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where emperors once prayed for good harvests. Later in the afternoon, you will head to the stunning Summer Palace, the best-preserved imperial garden in China, famous for its lakeside scenery, royal pavilions, the Long Corridor, and the Marble Boat. After a full but relaxing day, your driver will take you back to your hotel.

Day 3: Panda House, Lama Temple, Hutong Experience, Olympic Park

Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel at 08:30am. This day is a perfect mix of culture, local life, and relaxed sightseeing. You will first visit the Beijing Panda House, where you can see the lovely giant pandas up close and take photos. Next, you will continue to the famous Lama Temple (Yonghegong), the largest and best-preserved Tibetan Buddhist temple in Beijing. After that, you will enjoy a traditional Chinese tea experience, a wonderful way to learn about Beijing’s tea culture and take a short break before lunch. In the afternoon, you will explore the charming old Hutong neighborhoods by rickshaw, discovering traditional courtyard houses and the real everyday life of local residents. To finish your three-day journey, you will also make a brief exterior photo stop at Beijing’s Olympic Park to see the iconic Bird’s Nest and Water Cube from the outside, before being transferred back to your hotel.
