Day 1: Badaling Great Wall, Ming Tombs, Peking Roast Duck Dinner

Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby at 08:00am. Today you will begin your historical journey with one of China’s greatest symbols — the famous Badaling Great Wall, the most well-known and best-preserved section of the Great Wall. You will have plenty of time to walk on the wall, enjoy the mountain views, and imagine the ancient defense system that once protected the capital. After lunch, you will continue to the Ming Tombs (Changling), one of the most important imperial burial sites in China, where you can learn about the fascinating traditions of the Ming Dynasty. Along the way, you will have a short relaxing break and a chance to learn a little about Chinese jade craftsmanship. In the evening, a special highlight awaits — enjoy a traditional Peking Roast Duck dinner at Quanjude Restaurant, one of the most famous roast duck restaurants in Beijing. After dinner, you will be transferred back to your hotel comfortably.

Day 2: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Beijing Night Show

Your guide will meet you again at your hotel at 08:30am. Today you will explore the very heart of imperial Beijing. You will start with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world, before walking directly into the magnificent Forbidden City (Palace Museum), the largest and best-preserved imperial palace complex in China. Inside, you will also visit special museum areas such as the Treasure Hall and the Hall of Clocks and Watches. After lunch, you will have a short comfortable stop to learn about one of Beijing’s famous treasures, including the tradition of Chinese pearls, before continuing to the peaceful Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests and harmony. In the evening, you will enjoy an unforgettable cultural experience with a traditional Beijing night performance — such as a Chinese Acrobatics Show, Kung Fu Show, or Peking Opera. After the show, you will return to your hotel.

Day 3: Summer Palace, Hutong Tour, Shichahai

Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel at 08:30am. On your final day, you will enjoy a more relaxing side of Beijing’s history and local life. You will begin with a visit to the beautiful Summer Palace, the best-preserved imperial garden in China, famous for its lakeside scenery, royal pavilions, and peaceful atmosphere. After that, you will continue to the charming Shichahai area, one of the most historic neighborhoods in Beijing. Before exploring the hutongs, you will also enjoy a short traditional Chinese tea experience, a wonderful way to relax and learn about Beijing’s tea culture. Then you will experience an authentic Hutong rickshaw ride, discovering old alleyways and traditional courtyard life. For lunch, you will enjoy a warm dumpling meal with a local family, a wonderful way to experience everyday Beijing culture.
