Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby at 7:30am, and then drive to the Badaling Great Wall.

On the way to the Great Wall, you will have a short visit to a Jade Carving Factory, where you can learn about this traditional Chinese craftsmanship. Jade carving is a famous local art in China, combining excellent skills with rich cultural meaning.

Then arrive at Badaling Great Wall, the most famous and best-preserved section near Beijing. You will spend about 2 hours sightseeing on the wall. The highest point of Badaling is around 800 meters above sea level. If you like, the optional cable car is a convenient way to reach the higher area and enjoy a wonderful panoramic view.

After that, enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue to Longqing Gorge Scenic Area, located about 10 kilometers northeast of Yanqing County. Known as the “Lesser Lijiang River outside the Great Wall” and “The Small Three Gorges of China,” it is one of Beijing’s top natural attractions.

Longqing Gorge covers an area of 119 square kilometers, with beautiful mountains, waterfalls in summer, and impressive icefalls in winter. You will also see the largest dam in Northern China, over 70 meters high.

After the visit, drive back to downtown Beijing. If time allows, you may also have a chance to experience traditional silk culture.

Finally, your guide and driver will transfer you back to your hotel.
