You will visit Changling Tomb, the largest and most important tomb of the Ming Tombs. It is the resting place of Emperor Yongle, the first Ming emperor who moved the capital to Beijing, and his Empress Xu.

Enjoy about 2 hours of sightseeing at the Ming Tombs, walking through this peaceful and historic area and learning more about China’s imperial past.

The visit will end at around 10:45am. Before lunch, travelers will have about 45 minutes for a short stop at a Jade Carving Factory, where you can learn about this traditional Chinese craftsmanship. Jade carving is a famous local art, combining excellent skills with rich cultural meaning.

After that, enjoy a typical Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue to the world-famous Badaling Great Wall, the most iconic and best-preserved section near Beijing. You will spend about 3 hours walking on the Great Wall and enjoying the stunning mountain scenery.

Badaling’s highest point is around 800 meters above sea level. If you prefer an easier way to reach the top, the optional cable car is a great choice for a beautiful panoramic view.

At the end of the tour, your guide and driver will transfer you back to your hotel comfortably, finishing a wonderful and memorable day in Beijing.
