Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby at 8:00am, and then drive about 1.5 hours to the famous Badaling Great Wall.

Badaling is the most iconic and best-preserved section near Beijing, and one of the most representative parts of the Great Wall. You will have about 2 hours to enjoy sightseeing, walk along the ancient wall, and admire the stunning mountain views.

If you prefer an easier way to reach the higher points, the optional cable car is a great choice for a beautiful panoramic view.

Before lunch, travelers will have about 45 minutes for a short stop at a Jade Carving Factory, where you can learn about this traditional Chinese craftsmanship. Jade carving is a well-known local art in China, combining excellent skills with deep cultural meaning.

After that, enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, transfer back to Beijing city. If time allows, travelers will have about 45 minutes to experience Chinese traditional silk culture, as silk has been one of China’s most famous discoveries and remains a symbol of elegance and craftsmanship.

Later, visit the magnificent Temple of Heaven, the largest ancient imperial worship complex in the world. This beautiful site was where emperors prayed for good harvests and paid homage to heaven. You will spend about 1.5 hours exploring its peaceful gardens and impressive architecture.
