You will visit Dingling Tomb, the underground mausoleum of Emperor Wanli from the Ming Dynasty. Explore the impressive Underground Palace, a fascinating labyrinth of ancient halls. It was also the first royal tomb in China excavated according to an official archaeological plan.

Enjoy about 2 hours of sightseeing at the Ming Tombs.

The visit will end at around 10:45am. Before lunch, travelers will have about 45 minutes for a short stop at a Jade Carving Factory, where you can learn about this traditional Chinese craftsmanship. Jade carving is a famous local art, combining excellent skills with deep cultural meaning.

After that, enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue to the world-famous Badaling Great Wall, the most iconic and best-preserved section near Beijing. You will spend about 2 hours walking on the Great Wall and enjoying the stunning mountain views.

Badaling’s highest point is around 800 meters above sea level. If you prefer an easier way to reach the top, the optional cable car is a great choice for a beautiful panoramic view.
