Beijing Highlights 2-Day Private Tour PackageDay 1: Badaling Great Wall, Ming Tombs (Changling), Olympic Park

Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby at 08:00am. This morning, you will travel out of the city to visit the famous Badaling Great Wall, where you can enjoy about two hours of sightseeing, walking along the ancient wall and taking photos at your own pace. After the visit, you will stop for a traditional Chinese-style lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will continue to the Ming Tombs (Changling), the largest imperial tomb built more than 600 years ago. On the way back, you will have a short optional stop at a jade workshop to learn a little about Chinese jade culture. Before returning to your hotel, you will also have a brief photo stop at Beijing’s Olympic Park to see the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube from the outside. After a full but comfortable day, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 2: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace

Your guide will meet you again at your hotel at 08:00am. Today you will explore Beijing’s most important city sights, starting with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the heart of the capital. Then you will move on to the magnificent Forbidden City (Palace Museum), where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties lived and ruled China for centuries. Inside the palace, you will also visit special areas such as the Treasure Hall and the Hall of Clocks and Watches. After lunch, you will stop at Tong Ren Tang, a famous traditional Chinese medicine brand that offers an interesting look into Chinese health culture. Later, you will visit the beautiful Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests, and finally continue to the stunning Summer Palace, the largest imperial garden in China, known for its peaceful lakes and royal scenery. At the end of the tour, your driver will take you back to your hotel.
