Beijing Relaxing 2-Day Private Tour PackageDay 1: Badaling Great Wall, Summer Palace

Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby at 08:00am. In the morning, you will travel to the famous Badaling Great Wall, one of the best-preserved and most popular sections of the Great Wall. You will have plenty of time to walk on the wall, enjoy the mountain views, and take photos at your own pace. After the visit, you will stop for a traditional Chinese-style lunch. Before continuing, you will also have a short optional visit to a local jade workshop, where you can learn a little about Chinese jade culture and craftsmanship. In the afternoon, you will drive about 1.5 hours to the beautiful Summer Palace, the best-preserved imperial garden in China, well known for its peaceful lakes, elegant pavilions, the Long Corridor, and the Marble Boat. You will spend around 1 hour and 30 minutes exploring this relaxing royal retreat. On the way back to the city, you will make a brief exterior photo stop at Beijing’s Olympic Park to see the famous Bird’s Nest and Water Cube from the outside. After a comfortable day tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 2: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven

Your guide will meet you again at your hotel at 08:30am. Today you will explore Beijing’s most important historical sights, starting with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the heart of the capital and one of the largest public squares in the world. Then you will continue to the magnificent Forbidden City (Palace Museum), where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties lived and ruled China for centuries. Inside the palace complex, you will also visit special museum areas such as the Treasure Hall and the Hall of Clocks and Watches. After lunch, you will have a short stop at a traditional silk workshop, a nice chance to rest for a moment and learn about another famous Chinese craft. Later in the afternoon, you will visit the beautiful Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests and peace. At the end of the tour, your driver will take you back to your hotel.
